Internet Download Accelerator is basically a download manager for HTTP and FTP protocols. The acceleration is noticeable on any connection. The program allows you to create custom categories and sort downloaded files by their extension. Also included is support for reconnecting when downloads are interrupted. A scheduler to search for mirrors and a virus detection feature are also present.
