Helicon Remote

An app designed to control the various functions of a DSLR camera to get perfectly exposed images and create time-lapse videos.

This means you can use a cable between your Nikon or Canon camera and your computer to control its functions using the Helicon Remote app. The app lets you control focus and exposure bracketing, exposure compensation, white balance, color temperature, and even flash compensation.

Helicon Remote lets you connect your camera to a computer or mobile device to automate focus bracketing (DoF), exposure balance (HDR), and time-lapse photography. It can even combine all of these methods together.

Helicon Remote also allows you to shoot over Wi-Fi. A list of supported Wi-Fi cameras can be found here.

Another very useful feature of the Helicon Remote mobile app is geotagging - travel around and take pictures, and information about your current GPS coordinates and shooting direction will be included in the image metadata.
