get_iplayer

get_iplayer is a command line application that lets you download your favourite TV and radio programmes from the BBC iPlayer. You can download multiple programmes using a single command, and it can index the most available iPlayer programmes (not iPlayer Exclusive, Red Button, or BBC Three).

get_iplayer offers index caching for 4 hours, regex searches based on programme title or description, or filtering results by channel.
