FuzzyCruce

FuzzyCruce is a program that helps you clean your database of duplicate names or addresses.

To remove duplicates:

- Run the program and click on the Load File button and select the database.

- The program will show the path to the file, existing tables and fields.
- You can view the contents of each table by clicking the display button.

- Then select the Delete tab and select the table in the "Tables" list box.

- The field below will populate the conditions for considering the record as a duplicate.
- The threshold must be between 0 and 1. You can select more than one condition.

- For the output, select the output field that requires display and then click the query button.

- To delete, select the Duplicate records check box in the Remove column and press the Delete button.

To join two tables:

- Perform the first two steps above, you can load more than one data source at a time.

- Click on the Join tab and select the tables you want to join to each of the two list boxes.

- The field below will populate with the conditions required to consider the two records as equal.
- The threshold must be between 0 and 1. You may select more than one condition.

- For the output, select the output field that requires the display of each of the two tables, and then click the Join button.

- To delete bad records, select the Remove check box in the column and click the Delete button.
