FolderAnalyzer

 

The program is an extension of the windows shell (basically a kind of module for the Explorer application) and appears as one of the tabs of the directory or disk properties. It is used to find out how the space in a given directory/disk is divided between directories (i.e. e.g. Program files occupy 850MB(54%), Windows 472MB(30%) etc.), it can also find out the latest file in each of the subdirectories. These options are useful, for example, when backing up, uninstalling unused programs, or finding out which directory is taking up the most disk space.
