Users whose data or devices have been affected by the Crysis family of ransomware (ESET detects it as Win32/Filecoder.Crysis) can now get their infected files back for free thanks to an extension to the decryption tool that is able to decrypt files with a .dharma extension.

With the current update, ESET's decryption tool can help victims of six unique variants of this specific ransomware family. Each can be identified by its own extension: .xtbl, .crysis, .crypt, .lock, .crypted, .dharma.
