EncrypIT

EncryptIT is a tool for encrypting and decrypting files or directories on Windows computers. It uses the Encrypting File System (EFS) to protect data from unauthorized access. EncryptIT can also be used to add or remove EFS permissions to domain users.

To encrypt a file or directory using EncryptIT, follow these steps:

1. Open EncryptIT.

2. Select the file or directory you want to encrypt.

3. Click the "Encrypt" button.

4. Enter a password for the file or directory.

5. Confirm the password.

EncryptIT now encrypts the file or directory. The file or directory will only be accessible to a user who knows the password.
