Edit HTML

Edit HTML is a small program for creating CHM help. It can function as an html file manager and, to a limited extent, as an editor. In addition to creating help, its other strengths are generating content pages and index pages, converting pages and merging pages into one. For actual compilation, Microsoft's HTML Help Workshop tool is used. This program is free and can be downloaded from the manufacturer's website or from another source. Virtually all chm help programs use this tool more or less covertly.

The program has a fairly detailed help. Also included in the installation package is a directory with the source code for all the help pages, which can serve as a template for first attempts.
