Magic selector
DW Drum Enhancer is not just one effect. It has several EQs and compressors inside. When you select a drum type, the module automatically selects the appropriate gate and compressor model and sets the frequencies of the 3-band EQ to the ideal values. Five types of tube saturation will make any drum track come to life in an incredible way.

4 plug-ins are ...
Usually you would need several plug-ins to get the sound you want. It's hard to find the right combination of effects processors, and needless to say you have to worry about levels between plug-ins and other annoying things like tuning the sound in multiple windows at once.

Preferences
The fastest way to get to the drum sound you want is to use the DWDE presets. These have been carefully prepared in the DW studios by professionals who specialize in recording drums on a daily basis. You would be hard pressed to find anyone who has ever recorded more drum beats.

Dynamics
Intelligent and customizable Gate helps remove unwanted signal from recorded material. Compressor type, progression and times are based on drum type selection. The ability to use parallel compression further provides you with endless sonic possibilities.

Equalization
Don't look for the ideal equalizer setting. DWDE was precisely designed by DW audio engineers. The frequency bands, Q (quality factor - sharpness) filters and HP/LP filters again depend on the type of drum you select with the selector. The Pre and Post function is a matter of course.

Lamp Saturation
Five types of tube saturation are available to add colour, warmth and a distinctive character to your drums. This section is based on Audified's precision electronic circuit modeling technology.

P - Presence - more signal at mid and high frequencies
V - Vintage - finer pitches and more even harmonics
B - Brown - almost flat response with beautifully punchy upper harmonics
W - White - more signal at higher frequencies and a balanced ratio between even and odd harmonics
L - LoFi - contains less bass and treble

DW Drum Enhancer is protected by the iLok key. Make sure you have the latest version of the iLok license manager installed and that you have an iLok account. It is required for both the trial and full versions. No serial number is required for the 30-day trial version.
