DVDIdle

By using a read-ahead cache, DVDIdle stores the data from the DVD to be played back on a disc or in RAM, and then sends it directly to the software DVD player, so the DVD drive rests. For example: a 6-speed DVD drive will only run for 15 minutes while watching a 90-minute DVD movie. DVDIdle runs in the background and caches automatically. With software players such as PowerDVD, WinDVD, etc., the program is able to cooperate and deliver enough data while your DVD drive is no longer spinning!
