In the author's words, "DCPP is a standalone application that, unlike Drive Crypt, only allows encryption of disk partitions, but including the system partition! It does not use as strong encryption because the stronger the encryption, the slower the virtual disk (partition). When the computer boots up, the boot application already asks for a password (or Token) on the first access to the disk and only starts booting the operating system based on that. Without the correct password, the disk is encrypted and unreadable even when inserted into another computer! Another and equally interesting feature is that DCPP allows you to have two systems on one disk. It is the only application on the market that can hide "one system inside another" without making it obvious at a glance that the disk contains two systems. When the computer boots up, it depends on the password you enter and the selected system is started accordingly. It is thus possible to keep two systems, both encrypted, but one more secure than the other from the outside world's point of view."
