dot11Expert is a tool to view data regarding available wireless networks, adapters or access points. This allows you to easily check the status and signal strength of networks in range, encryption protocol and authentication type. For access points (APs), you can then read information about the MAC address, SSID, channel and frequency as well as RSSi. For adapters, the connection status and supported 802.11 standards are listed.
