ditaa

ditaa is a small command-line tool, written in Java, that allows you to convert diagrams created using ASCII characters into proper bitmap graphics. The program interprets ASCII art as a series of open and closed shapes, however it also uses a special markup syntax to extend the possibilities of shapes and symbols that can be drawn.
