Database Command Executor

This simple utility is used to execute SQL statements in your databases. With its help you can execute insert, update or delete commands as well as select commands. The utility returns the number of processed records and the result of the command can also be saved to a specified file in XML, CSV or TXT format.

The resulting XML file can be immediately transformed using the selected XSLT template, so you can export the query result to other formats such as HTML, XHTML, and others.

The SQL statement may contain parameters whose values are entered by the user in a simple edit table. The statement is then processed as many times as the number of rows with parameter values the user defines.

If you run the utility without parameters, a user interface is displayed in which you can define the database connection, the sql command and other parameters that can be saved in a configuration file and used later when you run the utility with the appropriate parameter.

Database Command Executor uses dbExpress technology to connect to databases. MySQL, Interbase, Firebird and BlackfishSQL databases are supported by default, as well as any of your databases that you have the ability to connect to using the ODBC interface. You can expand the list of available databases by installing additional dbExpress v4 drivers (e.g. Oracle, MSSQL, Sybase, etc.).
