Camera Ballistics

Camera Ballistics is a program that identifies anomalies in each image and uses this information to create a description of the sensor of the device that took the photo. The sensor is a part of every digital camera that collects light in millions of pixels and converts it into an image. Because of differences in size and material, each pixel may behave differently and make each sensor unique. This is true even between devices of the same make and model. It's the differences that allow you to make the sensor a fingerprint and link the image to a specific camera.
