Calamus SL lite edition

Calamus SL® is much more than "just" a frame-oriented break program that you can use to place frame content on a page. Calamus has a high degree of integration thanks to its powerful text, image and graphics processing tools. Therefore, you can edit vector graphics directly in Calamus on the page, without having to switch to another application and in the context of embedding the graphics in the page. Frame types can be converted from one to another to process their content on a different level (e.g. converting text to vector graphics and then changing the shape by moving anchor points). Masking of arbitrary frames (e.g. for background masking) can be done directly on the page. With the corresponding modules, image processing can also be done directly on the page, generating barcodes and three-dimensional stereograms. With the Calipso module it is even possible to import PostScript files!

In addition to these unique features, Calamus SL® naturally has very flexible micro and macro typographic functions as well as powerful breakout tools. To increase productivity, almost any sequence of operations and work steps can be saved and recalled with a selected key combination. A convenient text editor is available for capturing and processing text, where typesetting control codes (text rulers, text styles, kerning information, etc.) can also be inserted, created and edited.
