Bforartists is a complete, free and open source 3D computer graphics creation suite. It offers a complete 3D pipeline for creating game graphics, pre-rendered movies and still images. From modeling, sculpting, texturing, rigging, animation, rendering to post-production.

Bforartists stands for "Be For Artists". A reminder to develop for users, not programmers!

Bforartists is an offshoot of the popular open source 3D software Blender. It was developed by some 3D enthusiasts to make Blender even better.

The main goal of the Bforartists fork is to give Blender an improved graphical user interface and better usability. This means a complete change in usage philosophy from a keyboard shortcut-oriented UI to a user-friendly, clear and intuitive GUI.

Bforartists is fully compatible with Blender files and add-ons. Every feature that works in Blender should work in Bforartists. Each version is also always up to date with the latest version of Blender. The toolset is the same. The biggest difference is in the GUI and UI controls.
