BFile

The BFile program is designed for regular backup of selected folder files, including subdirectories.
The backup consists in compressing the folder, using the ZIP method, or by copying the monitored folder to the target directory according to a preset schedule.
The output backup file has a unique name, e.g.: 2004_12_03_19_01_32.zip (year_month_day_hour_minute_second).

• Scheduling options:
  • interval (e.g. every 15 min.)
  • randomly (automatic generation of the interval according to a configurable time range)
  • daily (e.g. every day at 15:30)
  • weekly (e.g. every Tuesday at 11:00)
  • monthly (e.g. every third day of the month at 12:00)
  • automatically (the backup occurs when files are changed, e.g. after editing, deleting, etc.)
• Backup options:
  • all
  • differential backups - backs up changes only
  • file mirroring - synchronize individual folders

The program also includes several features and utilities to make working with backups and files easier. For example:

• Backup after system startup
  conditional file copying
  (incremental, on date change or different size)
• bulk file renaming
• filtering of backed up files (by extension or file names), sending the backup result by email
• back up only the root of the backed up directory
• backup all subdirectories of the monitored folder

The program is distributed as shareware. The limitation is that only one backup job can be created. After registration, which is free, you can create as many jobs as you want.
