BAT-MP2

This is a command file that calls the preset scripts of the freeware programs PVAStrumento and VirtualDubMod. The DivX codec is used for compression.
The program demuxes the MPEG-2 file, uses the DivX codec to convert the video stream using the 2pass method to MPEG-4 format and merges it with the original MP2 audio stream into an AVI file with audio/video multiplex synchronization. This procedure is repeatedly performed according to the number of *.mpg files in the specified directory (up to 50). The program is particularly suitable for automated conversion of video clips to MPEG-4 while preserving the quality of the original MP2 audio track (MPEG-1 Layer 2).
