AccessPatrol

AccessPatrol is used to control access to drives, media, or hardware that allow data transfer. It is a security feature to prevent employees from infecting the corporate network with malware or viruses. Everything is managed from a console application on the server, where users can deny access to USB drives, CD/DVD drives, SD or MMC cards or even data transfer via Bluetooth, IR or Firewire. In addition to this, AccessPatrol can monitor file transfers or modifications and if, for example, a data leak occurs, it can be determined which employee is responsible.
